 ERE\n\nDESCRIPTION: In 2017\, neighborhood Master Gardener\, Joan Minklei\
 , initiated a remarkable project to enhance the beauty of Beebe meadow. Ov
 er the years\, the community has diligently worked to clear away dead tree
 s\, debris\, and combat aggressive invasive species such as bittersweet\, 
 honeysuckle\, multiflora rose\, and buckthorn\, allowing native pollinator
 s like milkweed\, pye weed\, and goldenrod to thrive. Volunteers have rest
 ored the Beebe Meadow sign\, added a lovely bench\, and planted over 1000 
 daffodils.\n\nCome to work or just to show support—even a half hour will
  make a difference\; no gardening experience necessary. Volunteers will be
  pulling and cutting invasive plants\, picking up trash\, trimming dead li
 mbs\, and removing a lot of the debris to a dumpster the town will be prov
 iding.  If you have a student who needs community service hours\, they ca
 n get credit.  Plenty for younger kids to help with as well!  Please lea
 ve the doggies at home.\n\nSuggested gear:\n\n 	White or light colored soc
 ks pulled up over the bottom of your pants OR wear tall boots (TICKS\, mud
 \, thorns)\n 	Garden Gloves (even tall dishwashing gloves\, thicker is bet
 ter)\n 	A hat if it's sunny (let's hope so)\n 	Sunglasses or other protect
 ive eyewear\n 	BUG SPRAY\n 	Garden tools (extra if you have them):  clipp
 ers\, rakes\, pruners\, loppers\, hand saws  (All marked with your name -
  we'll have extra labels on hand also)\n\n
