EVENT: public workshop regarding the future of the North 40
DATE/TIME: Oct. 1 at 6:30pm
LOCATION: Wellesley High School, 50 Rice St.
The event will include an overview and history behind the town’s 2014 acquisition from Wellesley College of this 46-acre property along Weston Road—half the property will be preserved as open space and the rest will be available for municipal uses. A hands-on portion of the meeting will be used to consider possible future uses of the property. Abutters, community garden members, and Town Meeting members will be among those receiving targeted outreach from the town for this public workshop.
