LOCATION: 199 Oak Street, Wellesley. Directions. From Weston Road, take Route 9 East for approximately 0.7 miles. Turn right on Oak Street and immediately right on Pinewood Road. Park on Pinewood Road. Cold Spring Brook Sanctuary lies along Route 9 East at approximately 199 Oak Street. There are no walking trails in this sanctuary.

DESCRIPTION: Come help the Wellesley Conservation Land Trust give Cold Spring Brook Sanctuary a good spring cleaning. The sanctuary provides a natural buffer between Route 9 and the Sprague school. The Wellesley Conservation Council (now know as the Wellesley Conservation Land Trust) purchased the two-acre natural site in 1982 and placed it under a conservation restriction, protecting the brook and open space.
